About Me

One day, while working in the city, my dad picked a baby pigeon that had fallen out of its nest and took it home. My sister named her Jenny (for some reason) and she eventually took a mate that my dad called Goku, and that was how we ended up with a flock of pigeons living in our backyard. Since then, I have had a fascination with pigeons, as any who know me can attest.

I wouldn’t exactly call myself an expert on the matter of pigeons, but I think I know a little more than the average person. Surprisingly, books abut pigeons are relatively hard to find, so I spent most of my time Googling them and trawling through message boards for information.

What People Say About Pigeons

Retain a calm heart, sit like a turtle, walk swiftly like a pigeon, and sleep like a dog

I am probably in the sky, flying with the fish, or maybe in the ocean, swimming with the pigeons. See, my world is different.

A peacock escaped from the Central Park Zoo and wandered around the city. Either that or I just saw a pigeon on his way to a gay pride parade.
